On 26-27 February 2019, the Faculty of Humanities at Beirut Arab University organized its first conference on the Arabic language, the impact, and influence of contemporary language with the participation of selected linguists and researchers from Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, and Sudan.
It is worth mentioning that Assistant Professor Dr. Azza A. Ezzat- Lecturer at the Arabic Department of the University of Zakho participated with a research paper on the common language errors in the social media, e.g, Facebook.
